Laura has been pursuing natural, alternative methods of healing for most of her life. Originally from the beautiful mountains of Tehachapi, she has lived up and down the Pacific Coast, following the path that led her right back here to sunny San Diego. She studies for her Master's of Science at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and is thrilled to be a part of the healing team here at Personalized Chiropractic. With focus in food therapy, acupuncture, ayerveda, and massage, Laura has also experienced that chiropractic plays an integral part in wellness as a way of life.

Dr. Ryan Curda was born and raised in the great state of Alaska. Growing up in the rural town of Bethel provided Dr. Ryan with a unique perspective on life, health, and community. Ryan moved to San Diego in 2001 to pursue and attain a Bachelor of Science degree in Film at San Diego State University. Ryan was raised with a respect and love for Chiropractic care as he would visit the family chiropractor as regularly as possible. This appreciation grew into a great desire to gain the ability to help people in the way that his personal chiropractor always had. He re-devoted himself to his studies and enrolled in the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2009, where he attained the degree of Doctorate of Chiropractic, Cum Laude.

Dr. Ryan has extensive experience working with athletes in both competitive and rehabilitative settings. He has found Sports Chiropractic to be extremely beneficial to an athlete’s functional movements and performance. Whether you are looking to increase performance, improve bio-mechanics, or just relieve pain, Dr. Ryan can help. Dr. Ryan’s passion for Chiropractic stems from a deep understanding of how the human body works and bringing that understanding to the people he serves.

Jared is a licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. He is certified by the California Board of Acupuncture, & nationally by NCCAOM. He completed his Masters of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine at the prestigious Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. While at PCOM he studied Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Western Diseases, Qigong, Tai chi, massage and nutritional therapy. Jared has worked as a registered nurse for the last 8 years at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, CA. He specializes in cardiac nursing. During his time as a nurse he has realized the importance of preventative and holistic medicine. He believes you must treat the whole body, mind and soul. Jared specializes in pain management, sports medicine, internal medicine & emotional disorders. Japanese Meridian therapy is the style of acupuncture he treats with. This is a classical approach that uses small needles with shallow painless insertion. He enjoys treating all ages of patients from pediatrics to the elderly population. Jared understands the importance of integrative medicine and wants to help people function at their highest level and provide Pacific Beach Acupuncture. 

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Mila Kalaba moved to San Diego in 2012 to pursue her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition at San Diego State University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2016 and went on to work as a nutritionist where she was able to implement her knowledge of foods and nutrition in order to change peoples lives through healthy lifestyles. In doing so, Mila felt further compelled to devote her time to improve the health of individuals and decided a career in medicine was ultimately for her. 

Mila is currently obtaining further education in order to apply to medical school in the near future. Working at Personalized Chiropractic was a choice Mila made full heartedly as it exposed her to another avenue of health and wellness.

Aside from her studies, Mila enjoys continuing her nutrition education, creating and sharing healthy recipes with friends and family, spending time outdoors in beautiful San Diego, and discovering different restaurants around town.
